Welcome to the website of the Cockburn Lakes Football Club. Originally named Robbs Jetty Football Club, the Cockburn Lakes Football Club was established in 1980.

Cockburn Lakes is situated at Anning Park in Jandakot, in close proximity to the Jandakot industrial area and is currently affiliated with West Australian Amateur Football League. 

There are a number of feeder junior clubs providing a vast pool of talent to the Cockburn Lakes Football club including South Coogee, Jandakot, Cockburn, Lakes and Hilton junior football clubs.

02.04.2010 30th Anniversary

All past and present players, families, friends and sponsors are invited to help celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Cockburn Lakes Football Club (Robbs Jetty Amateur Football Club) on Saturday 1st May 2010 from 1.30pm till late.
 
With live music from 7.30pm, match day presentations, raffles, auctions and full bar facilities. Come down and acknowledge the past players and life members of the club!

03.03.2010 Upcoming Events!

This coming Sunday, 14th March 2010, there will be a pre-season intra-club scratch match commencing at 2.30pm. This will be prior to the club hosting a Sunday Session featuring acoustic trio act "Shimmer" starting at 5.30pm. Get together a crew and enjoy a top evening to end the weekend!
 
Also, on the 8th April 2010 the club will be hosting premiership Eagles ruckman Dean Cox! Tickets are $15 and includes a pasta dinner commencing at 7pm. What an absolute bargain!

24.11.2009 Colts Coach Announced - Warren Mosconi

In another recruitment coup for the club former South Fremantle, Perth and State player Warren Mosconi has been appointed the Colts coach for the 2010 season!

Warren has a strong affliation with the South Coogee Junior Football Club, one of the powerhouses of the Cockburn district, as a former President. Warren's past experience of being a player at an elite level combined with his involvement with junior and developmental football in the Cockburn region make him an ideal coach for the colts as they transition into senior football.

Great news for the club!

Cockburn Lakes are hosting the Summer Football Carnival again this Sunday 29th November. Get down to the club for your out-of-season football fix and a few drinks!

11.11.2009 Reserves Coach Announced - Jeff Morris

The club has been very proactive in the offseason with putting in place the coaching a leadership cornerstones for the club and is very happy to have secured a quality reserves coach in former East Fremantle midfielder Jeff "Magic" Morris. Jeff will also assist David Bushell as the assistant coach for the league side on game day.

Having the League and Reserves coaching structure in place so early in the planning is another great step forward for the club as it prepares for its assult on C Grade in 2010.

The club is also happy to announce it's extended committee, which now stands as:

11.11.2009 League Coach Announced - David Bushell

The President and committee of the Cockburn Lakes FC are proud to announce former East Fremantle rover David Bushell as the C Grade League coach in 2010!

David Bushell played 68 games for the Sharks before moving to Broome in the early 1990's with business where he coached 2 senior Premierships in the West Kimberley FL. Between 2000-2004 he coached at the Forrestdale JFC (1 Premiership) before concentrating on establishing the well known Jandakot Seafood business 'West N Fresh'.

Bushell intends on commencing pre-season training by the 2nd week on January 2010 and will bring a tough and direct style of football to the Warriors.

David has already had indications from several quality footballers that they intend joining the club in 2010.

The CLFC intend on finalising the Reserves and Colts coaching positions in coming weeks.

Details of Preseason training start dates, location and times will be updated on this webpage as they become available.
